Cynthia Richie, an American woman blogger, is in the news these days because of her campaign against PPP leaders, but the question arises as to who brought her to Pakistan and conveyed it to the politicians.

 

On Twitter, a user named Khalid Munir raised the question, "Everyone has washed their hands of Cynthia Richie. Who is doing it nowadays?"

 

To his question, Dr. Jamshed Khattak claimed, "I spoke to Cynthia de Richie some time ago but never mentioned her name. She was close to Azam Swati who brought Cynthia Richie here, he brought her there and during the PPP regime." It may be recalled that the female blogger Cynthia Richie had been sharing private photos of PPP Sindh leaders for the past several days and yesterday she accused former Interior Minister Rehman Malik of sexual abuse, Makhdoom Shahabuddin and former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani of physical harassment. Both Yousuf Raza Gilani and Rehman Malik have denied the allegations.

 

 It is also worth mentioning here that later Azam Khan Swati was a part of JUI and a senator but later said goodbye to his party and joined PTI.

 

Former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has dismissed the allegations made by Cynthia Richie, a US citizen, as baseless. Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that he does not consider it necessary to respond to these baseless allegations. What was the accusing woman doing in the Presidency?
